What costs credits
You're charged for the AI work a task actually uses, never for time in the editor. Before generating an image or a clip, Clivie shows the estimate and waits for your OK.

Common questions
What happens when I run out?
Editing, playback and export keep working. AI features wait for a top-up. A task that's already running finishes; you're never cut off mid-reply.
Why credits and not tokens?
Nobody knows what a token costs, and the same edit can use very different amounts depending on the footage. A credit is a stable unit we can show you before you commit.
Can I see where my credits went?
Yes — every call, by day and by kind of work, in your account. Your balance is also in the app under Settings.
Does Clivie keep my footage or prompts?
No. Your projects stay on your disk. For billing we record which model ran and how much it used — not what you said or showed it. Privacy.
